Mountain vacation
Anywhere on the Buffalo, hiking, caving fishing, photography it is the best area in the USA between the Smokies and the Rockies.
Find just about any of Tim Ernst's books for ideas. The ones on hiking and waterfalls in the Ozarks will give you plenty of things to investigate no matter what season you want to visit.

There is a rental cabin across the road from me. I am about 5 miles north of Eureka Springs.

I can recommend the area around Mena and the Oklahoma border. Very pretty country, lots of camping and fishing opportunities.

Devil's Den near Fayetteville is nice. Great hiking and camping.
