You find yourself on a island shipwrecked. There are two cities on the island.
City one, is known as the "city of lies" where all that live there always lie.
City two is the "city of truth" where all that live there always tell the truth.
The inhabitants of the two cities travel back and forth all the time (so if someone is in the city of lies they do not necessarily live there).
You must find out which city you are in by asking someone on the street one question.
(this one is fairly easy) it is likely that some have heard this one already...
I don't think so.... Remember, the people who live in each city can travel back and forth.... So someone who LIVES in the city of truth would say "no" regardless of which city they are actually in at the time... So you still would not know which city you were in..,
On a sunday afternoon, a wealthy man was stabbed to death,
but all the people who were in the house at the time had excuses.
The butler was cleaning out the closet, the gardener was watering tomatoes,
the maid was checking the mail, the cook was making dinner,
and the wife was running errands.
Who killed the man and why do you think it was them?
As noted........all of them......the wife had the other four kill him
and they each had to do the stabbing so they wouldn't tell on each
other and the wife promised them a reward from her "inheritance"
............how 'bout that.......
