One of my wishes is that my cataract surgery next month goes well. Right now I'm legally blind in my right eye and had to do this with one eye but I did it. Found em all too!

Right eye is the worse. Left eye is about 75%. I can get around but don't, won't and can't drive. Can't pass the vision test for renewal. That's OK though, actually a small blessing. I take the bus or bike anywhere I need to go. If I can't get someplace by foot, bus or bike I don't need to go. The upside is that at 59 I'm in better physical shape than some half my age.

Frankly, I think cataract surgery is wonderful! It changed my life! Vision is so different now, and so much easier!
So I've heard. Haven't gotten new glasses because it would be a waste of money to get the glasses, have the surgery and need another pair after surgery. Actually looking forward to the outcome, but not the surgery itself.
