Here's the killer. I heard the song at work. My co worker is about 62 years old and a Vietnam vet and he always picks the WORST radio stations to listen to. Always the bubble gum pop channels. So I had heard this song about 3 times in one day, never knowing who was singing and just thinking to myself how horrible it was and so surprised it would make it on air. I thought it must be a one hit wonder, someone who I would not even know their name. Then the DJ said it was Katy Perry and I thought to myself. What? That's Katy Perry? That was horrible, I thought she was suppose to be cutting edge, hip, cool. That song sounded like a 1995 reject. We truly have slumped into the void of musical crap. Make that mainstream musical crap.
I find that, like Britney Spears was, her songs are much better in video form. Even better if you watch the video on mute.
And don't one of you fags pretend like you'd kick her out of bed for having bangs.
I haven't tried watching a video yet and I would never kick her out of bed. Hell, I wouldn't even turn the lights off. I'd even take pictures and post them on the internet!
