Lion King yesterday, B. B. King tonite!!

Tonight we're heading into Southern NV to see B. B. King in concert. Of coarse there's a storm blowing through cause it's at an outdoor ampatheatre at the casino Harrah's. We're praying to the storm gods that the lightning, rain and winds don't start til the concert ends.

B. B. KING was absolutely fantastic last night in Laughlin, NV. He was throwing these little picks out to the audiance, but my little grandson got to meet him, and was singled out to get the only pick that was used throughout the concert to play Lucille. He was stoked, I never saw that kid so excited. He's been playing guitar since he was about 4 and B. B. King is one of his favs.

He is also one of my favorites. It will be a sad day when he is no longer with us.

He, (grandson) took a great picture of Mr. King with the pick just before he threw it to him but I don't know if copyright issues affect posting it or not,so you'll have to take my word. The huge motor home was wheeled back stage of the outdoor theatre and he was wheelchaired to the stage and helped to his seat on stage. He announced he had just turned 86 yrs old but can "remember when I was your age" and points around to all us old coots in the audience. He probably won't be with us too much longer, at least performing anyways, we are gald we got to see him and yeah, he still has it, wheel chair and all, he still has it and puts on a great show.
