Review of COD: Black Ops

I'll probably pick it up tomorrow. From what I've heard it's far better than MW2, though the previous Treyarch CoDs have sucked, but I think Activision got the rights to the engine for MW1 and 2 so I think BO uses it as opposed to the previous Treyarch CoDs that all had their own engine.

Two of the guys I work with say that it's not all that great. Though one of them says you can customize a ton of stuff and that might win him over. The other guy says he doesn't like the Vietnam era stuff. They both say the graphics are not as good as they wanted them to be.

The question I have is why do you even play it in the first place? The maps are small and the content is week. I like larger content and better PVP aspect of a game. That is why I play WOW.

Eh, I've never been a big fan of MMO's like WOW and such.

Some people just have different tastes. I enjoyed MW2 a lot and just bought Black Ops - I'm sure I'll love that as well!

I have this for the PC, since I only have a Wii. I'm not much into shooters anymore, but I heard this one is great.

I personally feel the campaign mode is too much movie and not enough game. That being said, I love the different options for online as well as new weapons and camo options you can buy.

All the advertising I played a little COD4 this weekend. Such a fun game. Though I couldn't remember my PSN account so I had to create a new one and lost all the perks.
