Skyline

I like Aliens. I like apocalypses. I like Turk. I like anyone who was on Boy Meets World.

I did not like Skyline.

It seemed to be the same recycled plot that is Cloverfield and Monsters, only with less of a story and more reliant on special affects, which they don't delve into nearly enough. I did like how there was no hidden agenda, at least that I could see, but all the same they seemed to load the plot up with unnecessary character development considering it had no affect on the natures of those characters, almost just side plots as filler.

Much like in Monsters, I kept waiting for something to happen and it never did.

Spoiler Alert

If you are going to travel though space to take over a planet do some research.

If you have a light based mode of attack avoid planets with curtains and blinds.

The entirety of the casualties could have been avoided with proper window coverings.
