Wasn't there talk about putting another show on the air? I can't imagine Paramount just letting the franchise just die. There is still life left in that horse. Beat it some more.

Yea, they seem to be able to just start up, or make up a new point in the timeline with out any real problems.

It's space, and they are on missions of discovery, you can do whatever you want, it's like Futurama, but with real people.
