Best place to get lumber in Metro area

I do a lot of remodeling and the selection at Home Despot sucks. Any suggestions for where to get good lumber - moldings, 5/4, 4/4, cabinet grade plywood.

I've been to Randall Bros and they are ok - a pain to deal with. I've heard about Peach State Lumber but haven't been there yet

Also try Atlanta Hardwood Corp (formerly Atlanta Wood Products) off South Cobb Dr. They have a big selection and good prices.

It's also a woodworkers dream. Anything available, they just about have it.

Suwanee Lumber has a good lumber supply company. I get most of me wood there.

Every time I get hardwood at Suwanee Lumber the way they count the board feet always comes out in their favor. Meaning that they round up each board even if it is barely over. That adds up really quickly and maybe they all do that, but it always annoys me.

I agree with the rounding up, but all the lumber stores do the same thing.
