North Georgia Fun

Please provide your most fun adventures in the North Georgia Mountains.

Last year my friends and I hiked up to a very remote large creek with crystal blue water. We found an old log in a still part of the river that crossed the creek. Well we all had the idea to set the camera up on auto time and get a picture of us on the log. Well as my brother set the camera and trid to ruch back up the log. He knocked 3 of my friends in the water with the camera captured 3 shots perfectly. It was awesome lol.

There's a zipline outfit in Lula (above Gainesville) I've been thinking about.

Trout fishing in one of the mountain streams/rivers is always good - doesn't matter how bad you may be, the scenery is always good.

Many waterfalls.

My wife and I and another couple when to Helen last summer for a day. We did the normal tubing thing and had a blast. Only time I've been to north GA (and I've lived in the Atlanta area for 6 years now).

I love camping in the Dahlonega in the fall. the leaves are changing, the nights are cool enough to need a camp fire.. just a great time to be had by the family.

Love going to Jones Creek, up by Amicalola Falls, and driving on the primitive roads and taking pictures.
