R/C flying in N. Georgia

What are some of the better rouge fields for R/C flying in N. Georgia?

by Rouge field I mean not a flying club. I have nothing against flying clubs but I can't afford to spend $100 a year to be told to fly in a circle or to be looked down upon for flying a heli.

Not sure it fits your bill or not, but one place that came to mind immediately is Laurel Park north of Gainesville on Hwy 129.

Also, check the various smaller colleges. Seems like they all have some sort of field for activities that are open to the public. Gainesville College in Oakwood has a couple of good areas. Some place like Reinhardt College probably a bit closer to you.

There always seems to be a caste system no matter how silly.

Saw your post after watching a show on polar bears last night. They tailed the bears with a twp propellar swamp buggy for snow. The thing had wide floats for runners. A 2nd remote cam was camoflaged as an ice floe.

I'm just seeing the potential with currebt hardware. Impressive.
