It twas a field trip to the Capital, and Bush was leaving at the same time we where all standing around out front, So I ran up and shook his hand and tried to get a photo, but thats been lost for ages.

I was downtown once and Willie Nelson and the Rock were hanging out. Weird combo, but both seemed cool.

Flew in to old Mueller on a plane with Dennis Quaid once.

Oh yeah... does the Prince of Wales (he of the gigantic ears) count? I was a student at UT when he came through touring our building once, back in the 80s. It was funny- he had the usual secret service escorts, and we were standing there talking with one of them, he was complaining about how he was dying standing in the Austin sun in a full suit to hide all his "equipment." Prince Charles pulled up and started to walk in, then hung a sharp left and walked right into the crowd to shake hands. Secret Service guy rolled his eyes and said "oh <bleep>, not again" and had to go form a ring around him. and check out anything people handed to him. One gal gave him a stuffed Longhorn doll as a souvenir, and that caused quite a stir- I thought they were going to rip it open to make sure it was safe...
