Good mechanic in Austin ?

My wifes car is getting up there in miles and we are wondering where a good place to bring it would be. We are at 2222 and 360. Anyone have any experience with any place in the area ?

If it helps she has a sweet Toyota RAV4. By sweet I mean perfect for a girl and I dont like driving it.

Thanks in Advance.

Charlie Fowler at C-van-R downtown. Fast, fair, and very good.

The best place I know of is Gordon's Automotive on Burnet, just south of 183. They've been in business for 30+ years and the people are great and they do the best work I've seen. Give them a shot, you won't regret it.
