New Ranger
Picked this puppy up today to replace my Nissan.
^The spots are snow
It's a 2000 Ford Ranger with a 2.5L, 5 speed, and 3.73 gears. Needs a tune-up, but still runs good. And at 215xxx miles...

Nice Otah! What the heck is all that white stuff? Being from good ol' Cali, it just does not compute!

About 4-6" of snow...
I'll let you know the first tanks mileage next week, but it should get 25+mpg (same as my Nissan is getting...
)

Nice! I had a 97 Ranger back a few years ago with about 190k on it. Drove it across the country changing duty stations a few times, and all it wanted out of me was some oil changes and a set of new brake pads. She drove like new well into the 200k mile range - great pick!
I'm honestly thinking about buying a new one, just because I know it'll last!

I keep hearing that they are, or are going to be discontinued...
I don't like that it's already got 215k on it, but highway miles are pretty easy on a truck...
Anyone want my Nissan?

Nice truck! I love my Ranger, but with the 4.0 I get 15mpg, maybe 22 on long trips. My son-in-law has a 2001 just like yours but red and just had to put in a new fuel pump, but that's the only thing that's gone bad on it.

I'll have to keep that in mind...
Semper, where are you from? The ice was pretty bad. My county was the hardest hit in the Wabash Valley, so i'm told...
