Thanks....yes, we haven't had any major problems so far, but it's under100K....
my daughter owns a Chev. Surburban, so right now she's driving it to work to save a little on gasoline

Are those "old school" torsion bars underneath the front end? I MAY be thinking a new ford lately if they are.

My Ranger is the "Edge" Model .... it had different characteristics than the others....
a different suspension, and other variations.....here's what it says about the 2011.....

Quote: Front suspension Coil Spring suspension on XL and XLT 4x2,
Torsion Bar for XLT 4x4 and SPORT. Stabilizer bar for all front.

Click this link and "scroll" down to the "Edge Model"....maybe this will give you the actual info. you want
