Here we go again...my next excursion into re-uploading some of the very first tracks I ever put up here on YT. This time a pure rock'n roll/rockabilly take on Dave Dudley's old '60s country classic, "Six Days On The Road", which I originally uploaded on October 13th, 2008. Done in my usual relaxed (WHAT?) speed-o-matic style and cut in the good ole days of vinyls & time to burn (late '70s, that is!)! And that's my beloved Gretsch 'Country Gent' (now long gone but not forgotten!) going nuts in there, in case you wonder?! This trucker's classic has been twisted around so much here that it sounds nowhere even close to Dave's original country offering....it's straight rock'n roll all the way down the line, so dig in and have yourself a ball! ROCK ON!!!!
P.S. I might as well add that this is my original stereo
version of this track, since I also have a somewhat
slower mono version of it too here on YT! 'Nuff said and on with the blue suedes...
