Who has repaired a rear window defrost connection?
My '02 Tahoe had one of the rear window defrost wires disconnect from the window. It looks like I can just solder it back together. Does anyone know if there is anything special that needs to be done. Thanks

This is for a mini van but is the same thing you need. Its how to repair the window grid by popular mechanics and will help greatly.

The glue is formulated for this application. You shouldn't have any trouble with this connection again once its fixed. I've used similar glue like this meant for rear view mirrors and the glue is better than factory original.

I didn't even read the article. I thought they were using rear view mirror glue.

they can be a pain in the butt! i know they sell kits for them some where, just got to get a good kit, or take it somewhere and pay to get it done

I bought the repair kit, it's like metallic nail polish, works great for reattaching the connector
