I would recommend the Birmingham Zoo to anyone. We went with several friends who have kids, and they had a blast as well. For me, it was more fun than the Cincinnati Zoo and the San Francisco Zoo. We went on a Sunday morning, and it wasn't busy at all. We were able to go in the Kangaroo exhibit with the kangaroo's, and we got to hand feed the Lorikeets as well. Very fun!
