Right on the East Boston/Winthrop line is a restaurant called Belle Isle Seafood Restaurant. No frills. But dang good food even though they are pricey. Well, they have to pay for that large brand new building.
You can sit out on the deck and watch over the harbor as the city lights go on. Or you can sit inside in the huge dining room. You get enormous piles on food on your plate.
I know a couple of chefs that like to go there after they get off from work. And I only live about five minutes from there. My kids don't even ask, "Mom, where do you want to go to eat?" They know. And they know I am going to order their Lobster Roll. Enough for two meals.
