Anyone here live, lived or visited Bishop? My hometown and the one of the best places on Earth.

I love Bishop and visit every year in July to fish Bishop Creek and the lakes up there.
It's a great little town and I can't pass through without stopping at the Mahogany Smoke House for some of the best Jerky in the world!

I myself will not go thru that great town without stocking up on some of the best bread and sandwiches at Schat's Bakery.

Both of you brought back great memories! Starting at about the age 10 me and my friends would get up around 5:30am opening day of trout season and walk to Bishop creek. We would have our limit by 6:30 and be heading home as the tourists were just getting there.

I grew up with the Shats and love french toast made with their Sheep Herders Bread! My Mom used to send me jerky by the pound from Meadow Farms when I was in Iraq. It is the best jerky in the world and I can get it online now too!

I can't wait to head back there this summer for my 25th high school reunion.
