There are only two places in the USA that host the MotoGP Indianapolis and monterey/Laguna seca and if you decide to Try and show up Make sure to pick your Tickets up at least 6months ahead of time you never know the Turnout of WORLD WIDE events people around the world come to watch this not just americans. People travel far and wide to make it to these races and just pick up your tickets ahead of time to pick up the best seats possible

I was stationed in Monterey before this for 2 years and went both years - it was amazing! They let the locals in free without tickets, so we didn't really have to worry about that, but there was a TON of motorcycles there.

Hope you had a good time, and maybe got to go around and see other parts of Monterey as well! I used to work down at Fisherman's Wharf 2 on the weekends
