I personally think politicians of all stripes should stop talking and start acting on behalf of their constituents, but we all know that will never happen

BC, you are a true Libertarian but Canada's laws help keep you far safer than us regarding firearms casualties.

but............

Quote:
Heaven forbid you even keep a rifle, shotgun etc in your home loaded under the bed for protetion, its illegal.
It must be unloaded and locked in a safe.
And the ammo locked up somewhere else.
That's just beyond silly. Portland is "silly liberal" city. They mean well but beyond taking responsibility for keeping any weapon safe from minors it's our right to be instantly ready to do battle. I pass 5 handguns just walking past my bed.

This I am not sure about, and I already have a surplus of crazy neighbors, but he would probably like my street and Montreal and it's surroundings.

He might miss his mountains and the redwoods.

You would need to swim across the St. Lawrence river from NY to Ontario or Quebec to be a true mojado.

Economically speaking and from my Quebec perspective, I think our economy is pretty well on a par with yours in terms of screwed-uppedness.

There may be a couple near the coast but mostly they like CA.Canada has mountains too.

I just like Canadians and Canada. We could learn a great deal from our neighbors.
