That's just beyond silly. Portland is "silly liberal" city. They mean well but beyond taking responsibility for keeping any weapon safe from minors it's our right to be instantly ready to do battle. I pass 5 handguns just walking past my bed.

I am likely best described as a guy with some book smarts, but not 50 years of university, and 18 degrees. I like to use logic and common sense.
Slow to anger, but once pushed to far I can snap and will knock some silly jerk on his ass if need be.
I would do almost anything for my family and friends.
I think we are too over regualted and over taxed.
I like to use the simplest solution that works well, no need to make it complicated.
Hunting, fishing, and dirtbiking are the best things I do.

Only two 9mm's are there mostly for emergency. The .25, .32 & .380 are all carry guns I no longer carry. I like to know where each weapon is at all times and I keep them out of the two front rooms for safety reasons.

I know a guy that collects guns, techanically most would be considered illegal here, but the collects them.
He does not shoot many of them, and is a very easy going older gent.
But some people would assume he is a deranged madman, just because he has a collection.
Personally I think its cool to collect stuff, be it signed baseballs, stamps, baseball cards, coins, guns, or whatever.
My son has a weird fascination with clocks, and for such a young age has a LOT of clocks, of all different types.
But it bugs me that some think its weird people collect stuff.
IMO having maybe 150 guns or whatever he has is just COOL!
A car is far more likely to kill than a gun, so why are guns labelled as bad, I wish I knew.
