Also...if you guys are looking for a place to get a good, clean pint of beer in the Ontario area hit up the website Quality Certified Draught Beer | Better Beer as it has info on certain bars/pubs/lounges/restaurants that have been quality certified.
Ive got nothing to do with it, just know the guy that runs it...and understand all the auditing behind it, good process for so many of these places that still push beer with an air compressor.
Also to whoever said about Big Rock and its distribution, just heard that they are going out east now with Kegs...there are limited cans/bottles already in places, but Quebec is supposed to be getting Kegs soon.
Cheers!
Yes!!!!!
Thanks for the heads up. I will keep an eye out for it.
At Lake on the mountain in Prince Edward County, they have a dark ale that is only sold at the Lake on the mountain restaurant. Definitely a must try if you're in the area, there's a couple nice spots on the wine tour as well, the waupoos Cider co. offers a drink called the "Island snake bite". It's half lager, half cider - all delicious!
Another two-thumbs-up for Howe Sound Brewery. I don't know how far a-field their brews are going now, but in most of BC you can find some of their brews. My favourite is still their "Three Beavers" Imperial Red Ale.
