I've always been a fan of the Tragically Hip, though I haven't really paid much attention to their releases since Live Between Us. I'm also a fan of the Barenaked Ladies, but again, more of their older stuff is what I prefer from them.

Now, I'm a fan of Metric and a local DJ - DJ Phoenix, who produces music influenced by Daft Punk. He does have a free album to download, as well as one to purchase. I like both, and you should check him out.
