Especially when it's 95 degrees and I'm immersed up to my shoulders in my favorite swimming hole to get away from them, and still have to keep swatting walnut sized horseflies off my head and the hand holding my brew.
Here are some from my drive west of Calgary to McLean Creek, the trail was a little wet but passible, good fun. The cow and calf moose happen to show up on the side of the road on the way home.
