Awwww... you guys have me missing home ... mine was a small black every morning... once in a while I'd treat myself and get some assorted timbits.

I had a coffee at a McDee the other day and it was spectacularly great.
Light years better than Tim Horton's.
Sorry, it's sad but true.

I agree with you on the taste of the coffee, I was working in Boston for a few years and everytime I got off the plane in Calgary my wife was waiting for me with a extra large double double.

The original Tim Horton's is within the 5 km radius of me. The running joke was that there were more Tims than hookers here.
Anyway, if I'm having coffee out, I'm going to Rotten Ronnie's rather than Tims... Tims have been roasted to the point of removing the coffee taste.

Not a big fan of Timmies to be honest with you. That is sort of blasphemous as a Canadian, but I am pretty picky about my coffee, even at 5am. If they were brewing gnarly dark roasts, it'd be another story. I prefer to support small cafe/local businesses.

I agree. I have a great Italian cafe near work that makes mean espressos and cappuccino's.
I'm not a big Tim Horton fan either.
