a) I like the geographical division route. The territories, The West Coast, The Prairies, Eastern Canada (sure!!! ONT and QUE together forever!! I'm originally from ON, and have lived in AB and am now in BC, so seeing them get lumped together till someone complains would entertain me.) and then The Maritimes!

How about a section for Fortunate Canadians (Albertans) and Unfortunates (the rest of you)?

That's just plain wrong.
In a funny sort of cynical way .

To group Alberta in the praires would indicate that one has never been here, or at least not to the west side, Just like when some radio shmoe says to visit your praire Toyota dealer, what do I need to go to Saskatchewan to look at Toyotas??

I think Canada is a good start, then add areas as nessicary prolly by province at first, then maybe by city ???

was thinking today. does there even need to be a Canadian section? why not just rename the 'state' section to state/province then just put province sections in with the states and move all the threads in the Canadian section to their appropriate province, and the rest to off topic...

I like that idea.
Except some provinces have almost zero posts.

Yeah, dead sub-forums are a real killer. A city takes 15 requests I believe - so maybe if we had at least 15 requests for a certain province/area...

I for one appreciate the fact that a Canadian forum was created, but I sure as heck wouldn't do anything more with it until there was a lot more participation from the rest of the apathetic canucks up here.
