Quebec City

I was at a family gathering last night, and the topic of best locations for a vacation popped up. One family, who is not hurting at all with finances, said Quebec City was their best recommendation. They mentioned a huge hotel right on the bend of the water, which had the best accomodations they have ever experienced. They also mentioned the quaint town, friendly community, and beautiful views. Could someone please help me with locating the hotel they were speaking of? Also, pictures would be a great help!

That has to be the Chateau Frontenac. Right next to the Plains of Abraham.

I can't think of a place to visit with more history than Quebec City anywhere else in North America.

Except maybe Montreal
