What's your Favorite Restaurant in Charlotte?

My friends and I always hit up Dixie's Tavern but the wife and I love LUCE---Upscale and pricey, but delicious.
What are some good hole in the wall gems?

Mickey & Mooch - Lake Norman...fantastic steaks (~$50 couple)
Lupie's - Huntersville...great 'home cookin', huge portions, very cheap prices

Our special place - Dolce italian restaurant in Charlotte. Love that place! Small, quaint place & great italian food.

Lupe's

Sir; about anything you get; is good. Texas Chilli for me; and sometimes it is smokin hot. hahaha yumm Wife likes the banana puddin;
price ''fair''
A good ''yuppie to puppie'' class; without ''snob''.
Best ''regular'' type people.

Really, no mention of The Penguin? Off Central and Pecan... a classic!

Phat Burrito is another favorite... a block down from Price's Chicken!
