Bee Keeping

Earlier I saw a post about raising chickens in the burbs. Anyone on here raise bees, too? I'd like to start a small backyard operation if it's legal. I live in the Western burbs.

I've been thinking about the same thing and they were super-helpful.

I think there's a similar group in the west burbs.

I signed up with the meetup group, but I haven't attended any functions yet. I'm very interested in getting into bee keeping, but I'd like to help an already established bee keeper before taking the pludge.
