Goose Island! Great beers, and good food. Good desserts!

If you want to go a bit outside Chicago, my absolute favorite place is Two Brother's in Warrenville. Grab a growler to go! It's small and cozy. Heavy Handed IPA is in season.

They have an amazing beer selection, fantastic food (both at good to reasonable prices), and the owners are outstanding at what they do.

You cannot go wrong with The Map Room. It has the best selection in the city.

Does it really matter?
it has come to my attention that beer has become a preference more than just a drink. to me i believe any bar in chicago will have the same as any other

If you want food with your beer, then Hopleaf is my suggest. You may have to wait for a table unless you show up very early or late. They do not take reservations. It is well worth the wait though.

I just went to Revolution while I was in town..cool place. I also REALLY like Half Acre if you are on Lincoln Ave and need some fresh Daisy Cutter.
