Where are the best places around Cincinnati to take day hikes?

john bryan state park is about 35 minutes away and imo it is the best place to hike.

ceaser creek state park in waynesville has some nice trails not real long. only thing is it is closed to hiking during hunting season as it is also great hunting land

Huston Woods in the Hamilton area

Ceaser Creek bring your gun during the hunting season and walk around a beautiful park armed lol

within the city you have Mt. Airy, California, Lunken trail, even Spring grove cemetary.

Miami whitewater is nice but if you like a great view Eden park is nice.

Nothing beats walking around ceasar creek or even to a
green homes Cincinnati
neighborhood and be on the lookout for hunting season.

East Fork State Park. About 25 miles to the east. Just past Amelia.
