My dad was reminescing about Little Kings this weekend. He was talking about the 8-packs and also said they used to sell it in a big 64 oz. bottle (a growler maybe?)
Anyway, Schoenling, Hudy and Christian Moerlein are all owned by the same company now. One guy bought up all the names to these companies and is now brewing modern day versions of these. Right now they are all contract brewed at breweries out of state, but Christian Moerlein is currently in the process of opening an actual brewery in Over the Rhine. They are releasing their first locally brewed batch this weekend at Arnolds downtown (Arnold's 1861 Porter).
