If this thing ever gets off the ground, eventually there will be a rule that you can only win once per year, but I think for the time being you guys can fell free to take another shot when the September contest opens

Also, any suggestions to improved the contest would be more than welcome.

How recent do the photos have to be? Can you have posted them in your photos section? What if they are on one of your personal pages, such as Facebook, Twitter or a blog?

The rules are pretty basic and in the process of being refined. See the sticky at the top of the thread for the current version. Check back once in a while because right now in the very early days of this contest, they are likely to change without notice.

Right now, there's no rule about old pictures. A lot of us have taken great pictures over the years so I see no problem with that. You can use any photo you think has a chance as long as it's one of your own.
