Took this un-edited picture of the Weber Fire last Friday, the night it started. Just outside of Mancos, CO.

Those are some serious monsters you guys are fighting in your state.

I've been following the news a bit from over here and it's scary stuff. I hope everyone manages to stay safe and out of harm's way.

Just so everyone knows, if you post a picture after midnight at the end of June, it will not be considered as a finalist for the top ten. And also, it may take a couple of days until the top ten are announced and a voting thread is opened, on account of the long weekend in Canada.

Thanks for your concern. It is bad here in the SW part of the state, but not nearly as bad as the devastation they are having in Colorado Springs. Here are some pictures of what they are dealing with. I didn't take the pictures, so I am not formally submitting them. Just thought I'd share.
Some powerful and sad photography. As of now, 346 homes have been lost in the Waldo Canyon fire.
