Here's a "wasp" that gave my little hummingbird a "fit" all summer....every time the hummingbird came to the feeder the wasp would chase him/her away......

I hung a hummingbird feeder for the first time at my cabin. I got wise when they kept attacking my old red kerosene lantern looking for bird juice.

The feeder attracted lots of hummingbirds, but I hung it a little low and in a bad spot and ended up walking into it a couple of times at night.

Talk about a mess. That is some sticky syrup

Know what you mean.......I had mine hung over the rail on my deck and it dripped on the
rail and attracted every "bee" in the area......great photo ops. though.....
got lots of photos of bees and flies.........
