Best Area to Stay

I am headed to Colorado Springs soon and will need to stay overnight with a trailer I have concerns over getting lifted.

What area should I stay in and what area should I avoid stay at.

In general, the south side of town is seedier & the north side is nicer. Avoid the SE part of town near the airport.

I have stayed many nights in the hotels off of circle and I-25, The north part of town by the airforce academy is pretty nice tho.

Also, though Manitou is fun to visit, I would stay away from those hotels also.

If your trailer's not too large, The Marriott's are a great place to stay. The Courtyard Marriott is the best because it's away from the interstate, but they don't have a really large parking lot. Every once and a while I see people with a fifth wheel down the side, but they wouldn't be able to fit more than one.

If you are not staying for a long period, the Walmart on Power's allows overnight stays and there are usually several there. Just park as far from the building as possible.
