I moved from Central Texas a couple of years back, and now I feel like I'm having allergy issues here. Any one else having a problem now? At first I thought maybe it was a head cold, after a week I'm not so sure.
I know when I first moved here I had very bad altitude sickness for a while, but I eventually got use to it. Maybe that has something to do with the head-cold feeling? Hope you feel better!
There's a lot of allergens here, it just depends on person-to-person. Mine are usually mild for most of the year except spring when they blow up miserably. Find yourself a good allergy medicine and keep it on deck.

It took a few years after I moved here from CA for my allergies to get really active. Usually, I read somewhere, it takes around 3-5 years to become sensitized to a new locale.
Coming from TX, it's likely a case of altitude sickness. Almost all of Colorado is above 5000 feet... and folks from the lowlands sometimes feel rotten for a few days. Google altitude sickness for some relief.
Every year I have terrible allergy problems from around Aug.1 till the first hard freeze. I dunno what's in the air, but this time of year just kills me.
