Depends on what you are looking for, but I hear the upper animas can be pretty gnarly

Brown's Canyon makes for a great overnight trip ... pack light with waterproof bags tied to the raft

There's something for just about everyone on the Arkansas. That's why you'll find zillions of people there.

If you're looking for less intense, lazy river style. The Ruby-Horsethief section of the Colorado is super nice. You can continue from the end of that section into Westwater which is a classic whitewater section
