That's an interesting comment though - I never thought about the area code as it applied to job applications. I work in an industry where I see
lots of phone calls every day, and many of them are from local residents who have kept their out-of-state phone numbers for whatever sentimental reasons. They've definitely established residency in CO, but maintain the 714, 404, 585 or whatever...
