Resorts around Georgetown

Are there any good resorts to stay at in the Georgetown/Idaho Springs area?

What kind of resort you looking for? Ski resort I assume? Loveland is real close, but there's nowhere to stay, it's just a ski mountain. A-basin is just over Loveland Pass, but again nowhere to stay. However, through Eisenhower Tunnel there's Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper all within maybe 30-40 miles of Georgetown all with their own villages to stay in/shop.

Might be closest to head back down I-70 a bit and head over Berthoud Pass (US-40) and into Winter Park. Less busy and drive isn't as bad in the evening.

Shhhh, Mary Jane gets too many people already

Nah seriously I didn't even think of that, but it's a good place to go too.

Agreed. And a lot of the ski towns along I-70 will be a better bet for staying in a hotel while skiing.

Don't know how much you paid attention as a kid but if you did, you will notice lots more people. That's what I noticed compared to 30 years ago.

I'd go to Loveland. Great terrain, no crowds, friendly people.
