I have been told that there are a lot of un-kept roads in Ohio, especially the southwest. However, I've never been able to figure them out or where they are.
Any ideas?

Where are the closest Forest Services trails/roads? I'd love to take the family on a car-camping trip but know know anything remotely local?

If it is questionable you shouldnt be on it..period.

There arent alot of unimproved roads but there are some.

in April ohio4x4 host novice rides on some of these roads near tar hollow state park. I would suggest logging onto thier website and attending that ride.

The tar hollow area trails are about the only unimproved roads id take a stock vehicle on.

Ohio locks all of its forrest service roads up.

O
Last Friday I took the family DS, DW and myself, drove to Maysville KY to Big Rock. 2.15 min drive from where we live and had a good time.
They are allowing Jeeps and such to wheel.
She told us that the reason why they stopped allowing 4x4 they were to rowdy. The owner wants a family friendly place for people.
I would suggest it and we would go again. We also have a Wrangler TJ.
