I agree with White Memorial as well. Nice easy trails, a few areas paved for handicap and elderly. Places to fish and a nice place to cross country ski.

southford falls in oxford/southbury is a good place

Hartman Park in Colchester area. Great fairy trails with homemade decorations made from kids...peaceful streams throughout the hike.

Collis P. Huntington State Park in Redding, Ct. has all kinds of trails. Most are easy to hike. The ponds are nice to walk down to and should be easy enough for most people.

Hikes in CT.

Fore sure White in Litchfield is good a bit farther down 202 on Rt. 47 there is a trail on the left that goes forever. Try that sometime.

Hueblin Tower over on Avon Mountain is a decent trail. Not to difficult but a nice hike and a great view from the tower
