The Naugatuck Valley, Connecticut

I live in Middlebury but have live in The Valley all my life which includes Seymour, Shelton, derby, Oxford, Naugatuck, and Ansonia. Not a whole lot going on in this area as its pretty rural but thats what I like about it. Not much crime around here and if there is some there aint no where to hide as its everyone's business and we stick together!

I live in Ansonia and enjoy how its close to everything and yet still remains quite suburban. Lots of outside activities including my favorite, fishing.

I'm not from the valley but my wife is from Derby, CT's smallest city.

Tony's a good guy, and his business is a great place as well.

Also, Born and raised in the valley myself. I am one of 'those' who wants to get out but never will. Its not a terrible place, I could think of worse. I could also think of lots of better. Family keeps me tied here for the most part, so I find the best of it.
I find a few of the bars to be intolerable, and won't mention them because some people do love them. However, I do enjoy Archie's in Derby (great wings), and Slainte, The Milestone Inn, both in Naugatuck.
