Recommend Craft beer in CT?

Can anyone recommend some good microbrewerys in CT?

Only one I know of the top of my head is Cottrell. Nothing fantastic, but not bad in a pinch. They have a few beers of their own and also do a fair bit of contract brewing. They used to brew many of Newport Storms beers.

There is a good brewpub in Wilamantic, but I haven't been there in a while.

That is the extent of beer knowledge in CT. It is just on the edge of my radius in RI.

Not from CT, but while living in Salisbury, CT I drank lots of Berkshire Brewing Company's beer. Very good stuff and local to boot!

John Harvards in Manchester, CT
City Steam Brewery in Hartford, CT
Southport Brewing Company, Southport, CT (Fairfield, CT)

other great places, but do not brew:

Eli Cannon's Tap Room in Middletown, CT
Many more... happy drinking.

hooker brewery in Bloomfield, they do happy hours on Friday and the beer is awesome.

I'd second New England Brewing Co. They're located in Woodbridge, about 2 minutes off the Merritt Parkway.

New England Brewing

A great lineup of regular beers with amazing seasonal beers.
