I went to the Kessler last night to see Black Mountain and Black Angels. It's an old theater that has been recently restored. It's very nicely done. The space keeps an intimate feel, but there is a wraparound mezzanine with seating in case you need to get off your feet. There's a lounge, and their bar is well stocked. This is a great place to see smaller acts before they start playing huge venues. The sound is great, PA is elevated so even though I was right next to the stage for Black Mountain, I wasn't getting blasted by the PA much more than the rest of the room. I'll be back for more.
