Huh. I go there all the time since it's so close. (well, not all the time, I'm not much of a mall person, but it's where I usually go). I've never once felt uncomfortable or threatened. At all. Just took my little girl there to see Santa two three days ago. Sure, it's not "high class", but it's a mall like most others.
