Denver Zoo Questions

Just moved to Denver and wanted to check out the Zoo.

Is this time a year a good time to go, is parking bad?

IMO, any time of year is good to see the zoo. There are a bunch of new baby's there right now and parking should not be a problem.

Good luck, hope you enjoy

Bring a light sweater, but this is a great time of year to go. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my best pick days to go. Thursdays and Fridays seem too clogged up with field trips and weekends are just going to be busy. Parking isn't really ever that big of a deal.

You HAVE to go visit in the winter when they have the lights up.

I am a huge fan of zoos... Does anyone know how it compares the Sedgwick County Zoo or the St Louis Zoos (2 very fine zoos)?

Was just there this last Saturday, took the wife and daughter for the day. It was not crowded, and parking was no problem. There is a free day coming up in a week or so, but that is when its going to be crazy busy and full.

Baby Tigers NOW

I took my little tike about 2 weeks ago and they have 3 baby tigers now that are just adorable and worth the price of admission alone!

Also, Halloween is a good time to go they have a night special and during December they have the Christmas Zoo Lights which are beautiful! Enjoy Colorado.
