Homebrew clubs or places to meet and brew

Are there any homebrewers hanging out here?

I started brewing a year ago so I am very inexperienced and im looking for a club or just some people to brew with in the north metro area. I just want to learn some things and make some new friends....oh yeah, drink beer too!

I am in the exact same boat my self, ive been brewing a little linger but the only friend i had the was also a brewer moved and id like to try other peoples beer and get some more criticism for my own

You might also checkout 5280 Fermentation Society. The group is hosted by and meets at the Wykoop brewery downtown. Good mixed group of people. Bring beer to share!

I are also a homebrewer. I second 5280 Fermentation Society, as I am a member. A great group of guys and (gal). I also belong to the Keg Ran Out Club in Westminster. The Keg Ran Out Club We meet the 3rd Thursday of the Month at Beer at Home in Westminster. Also a great group of guys and gals who are very knowledgable about brewing. I live in Whittier/Five Points and brew just about every other weekend. I would be great to have some group brew sessions. I love my zen time with my mash tun and kettle but geeking out with other lovers of craft beer is also a blast
